Fantasy Hoops Waiver Wire Bin Vol. 8
I scoured the fantasy baskeball waiver wires to find gems so you don’t have to.
Derek Fisher- Fisher turned it up a notch over his past four games averaging 15.5 points, 3.3 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. His 0.8 turnovers a game is great. Throw in 48% field goal and 81% free throw shooting.
Anthony Johnson - Johnson has been great over his last four games. He’s averaging 13.5 points and 9.5 assists over that span while shooting 50% from the field and 87.5% from the line.
Yi Jianlian - On the season he’s averaging 11.0 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Over his past six games he’s stepped it up to 16.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game. Over the past two games, he’s been a best averaging 18.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.0 steals, and 2.0 blocks while shooting 59% from the floor without missing a free throw.
Wally Szczerbiak - My wife paid me to put Wally here since she’s had a total crush on him for years. Kidding aside, he has found his scoring touch averaging 19.8 points over his past four games. Problem is he does little else, as evidenced by his 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists he’s averaged over that stretch. Plus, he didn’t record a single block or steal. Where he helps you is the 3.25 three pointers he averaged along with his 49% from the field and 89% from the line. He qualifies as both SG and SF.
Erick Dampier - He’s not scoring much, nor living up to his hefty contract, but he has picked up his rebounding recently. Over his past three games, he’s averaged 9 rebounds per game. He’s blocked nine shots over that stretch and made 8 of 11 shots.
