Fantasy Hoops Waiver Wire Bin Vol. 13
I scoured the fantasy baskeball waiver wires to find gems so you don’t have to.
G
Sebastian Telfair - The Timberwovles have actually played better recently. Al Jefferson and Ryan Gomes have received most of the credit, but Telfair has been pretty solid of late. In his last seven games he’s averaged 12.9 points (scoring in double-digits each game), 6.7 assists, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.3 steals per game. He’s shot a solid 50% from the floor. His 68.2% free throw shooting isn’t great, but he’s only turning it over 1.6 times per game. The Wolves can certainly live with that 4.2:1 assist:turnover ratio.
Jannero Pargo - Pargo has been more of a factor lately as well. Over his past four games he’s averaging 14.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.3 assists, and 1.8 three pointers per game. He’s shot 52.1% from the floor without missing a free throw.
Andrea Bargnani - The big man has been a disappoinment this year for the most part, but hopefully his past two games are a sign of a turnaround. He averaged 16.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 0.5 steals, 0.5 blocks, and 2.5 three pointers. Not bad for a guy who qualifies at SF, PF, and C. His shooting numbers are 42.3% from the floor and 85.7% from the line in those games.
Ime Udoka - In his past five games Ime has averaged 10.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.2 three pointers per game. He shot 56.4% from the floor and didn’t miss a free throw. These aren’t great numbers, but they could help in deep leagues.
C
Johan Petro - Petro hasn’t been very productive this season, but he’s been decent over the past three games. He averaged 9.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks while shooting a remarkable 68.8% from the field and 71.4% from the floor. If you need a guy to board and block and not hurt your turnover or free throw categories, Petro could be your guy. Of course, I’m talking DEEP leagues though.
