Farve Watch Continues

May 7, 2009

Brad Childress flew to Mississippi to meet with Brett Favre to discuss the possibility of him joining his once bitter rival.  The Star Tribune is reporting that Brett would be willing to take care of the major roadblock to his return.  Namely, his torn bicep tendon.  They are saying he would be open to “undergoing a minor procedure in which surgeons complete the cutting of the tendon. The recovery period would be quick, and Favre would be ready to go long before training camp”.

Stay tuned as this story develops.

I’m no Doogie Howser, but “cutting the tendon” doesn’t sound like it should be a quick recovery…although can you imagine how many John Madden Tough Guy Points that would be worth?
