Life After Jimmy Graham
Jimmy Graham’s first season with the Seattle Seahawks was disappointing until the bitter end. Easily a top two pick at the tight end position he finished with 48 catches for 605 yards and two touchdowns. He hadn’t scored since Week 3 and only topped 60 yards in four games.
Here are some options to replace Graham.
Cameron Brate, Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Long shot, but he’s scored the past two games while averaging 50 yards per game.
Brent Celek, Philadelphia Eagles – 134 yards in Week 10, 79 yards in Week 11 and a touchdown in Week 12.
Scott Chandler, New England Patriots – Short term option while (if) Gronk is out.
Owen Daniels, Denver Broncos – Averaging 58.3 yards in his past four games.
Crockett Gilmore, Baltimore Ravens – Had 101 yards last week and touchdowns in the two previous games.
Vance McDonald, San Francisco 49ers – Long shot, but he’s scored the past two games while averaging 68 yards per game.
Heath Miller, Pittsburgh Steelers – Averaging 55.5 yards in his past four games.
Zach Miller, Chicago Bears – Has four touchdowns in the past four games.
Richard Rodgers, Green Bay Packers – Has five touchdowns. Hit or miss based on his touchdown reliance.
Kyle Rudolph, Minnesota Vikings – Had six catches for 106 yards and a touchdown last week and seven grabs for 53 yards this week. Becoming more of a focal point in Vikings’ offense.
Jacob Tamme, Atlanta Falcons – Averaging 62.3 yards in the past four games.
Benjamin Watson, New Orleans Saints – Averaging 77.5 yards and 0.33 touchdowns (with five games with at least 53 yards) in his past six games.
