NFL Free Agent Report Vol. 6
Time for the sixth installment of the NFL Free Agent Report. There sure has been a lot of movement. Click here for links to past reports.
Brendon signed a four-year, $4.9 million deal with Baltimore. He will help their Special Teams as he has been named to two Pro Bowls for his Special Team’s play. He will also take some snaps at Inside Linebacker.
The last thing Cincinnati’s defense needed was to lose a starting linebacker. Too bad because Carolina snatched him up. He had 109 tackles last year and has 398 in his four year career. He signed for three years and $10 million.
Chicago is going to give Lloyd a shot. He was awful in Washington, but was solid in San Francisco. With Berrian gone, he could play a decent role for Chicago, although their QB play is awful.
Tony signed with the Jets to lead the way for Thomas Jones, and the young Running Back they take in the draft. With the way they have built their line and adding the guy who paved the way for Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson, and Adrian Peterson, you just know that RB is something they will address in the draft. There is some speculation that the RB they end up with will be Darren McFadden.
Ben was another one of the Tennessee players to leave. He is heading Southeast to Tampa Bay. He signed a two-year deal with the Bucs. He only caught five passes last year, but two years ago he grabbed 55 for 530 yards.
