i’m taking the saints over bears too!

i dunno about pitts over the crowes, crowes are mean, meaner then pitts dline & pretty much that’s all pitts has is a dline, the running game sucks!

pitt is just as tough. they are battle tested. should be a defensive slugfest

that i’ll 2nd. still not sold though.

i’d really like to see jags do something still, shame…garrard is a solid QB, he gets no love outta that city!

the jags and the brownies have been brutal in a year that many thought they would build off of their success from last year.

Are you serious? All Pittsburgh has is a D-Line? They have the best tandem OLB corps. in the league hands down. Plus, Polamalu leads the league in INTs and Ryan Clark (very underrated) is one of the hardest-hitting FS’s.

Saul – Yeah, their LBs are no joke and when healthy Polamalu is right up there among safeties.

yes i’m serious or i wouldn’t have typed it :) i’m not sold on the oline, ben’s taking too many hits & the loss of some key players has damaged the oline.

I’m guessing you mean their O is busted and perhaps are including the LBs when you say D-Line? Harrison (15 Sacks) and Woodley (11.5) are pretty nasty.

    yes i’m aware they are

let me try it this way: the offensive line has hardly any run game, they’ve lost some key players. the offensive line lets ben take too many hits.

i did a whole blog on the run game yesterday & the fact that ben takes too many hits. i personally don’t care who wins this game. i’m not a fan of either team, suffice to say, the ravens are one nasty team to play against. they are going to give as good as they get! this rivalry is old school & goes way back, that’s the fun of it!

I hear you. I guess you just touched a nerve with a Steelers fan. To sum it up, the D is great, but they have shortcomings on Offense, that could be a problem when they face Baltimore’s tough D.

Maybe. I have a hard time thinking T-Jack will lead them to a W on the road though.

lol. I agree that the O-Line is subpar. That’s what happens when you send an All-Pro to the Jets and not draft at least 2 to replace him. Not a very smart draft this past year by the Steelers. I like Mendenhall and he will be a great RB, and Sweed will most likely pan out, but you trade Faneca, and blow your first 2 picks on a RB and WR that have hardly touched the field? But it seems that their O-line has started to gel the past few weeks, which will give Ben enough time to take care of business. Let’s not forget, Flacco is a rookie and will undoubtedly have the kitchen sink thrown at him all day on Sunday. He’s done well so far, but this Steeler’s D is possibly the best Pittsburgh’s ever had, statistically, and that’s saying a lot.

    Steelers over Ravens 20-10.

Not the best of drafts, but you can’t judge them right away, especially with a WR and an RB that got hurt.

Saul, Sweed is a beast, u can bank that!! Mendenhall when he gets healthy, is an amazing player!!
I’m not forgetting joe is a rookie, he’s one of my faves from this draft class along with matty. it’s going to be slugfest, that is no doubt. 2 blood bath Dlines comin at you live, enjoy your game & cheers to your steelers!
