Jets have never been able to win on the West Coast in their 48 years, They will lose to Seattle then Ruin Miami’s season the last week of the season and vault the Patriots in the Playoffs

Hasn’t Detroit looked better in recent weeks? They are back home this week playing a team that was just eliminated. Any one else think this isn’t so much of a lock.

    Larry – maybe you’re right
mike – i think they are a team of destiny. brees is shooting for marino’s record so I think they will rally behind that.

I’m sorry, picking without the point spread is for sissies and housewives. There is no way you are a legend, anywhere but your own mind. Pick ‘em like the big boys, who knows you might earn “legend” status.

Fair enough Doc. My main deal is fantasy sports, but next year I can work the spread in.

Les, I was pulling your leg, what i said was said with a smile. I sports writers in my local papers here in S. Cal, for picking straight up. Some years favorites run around 65%. i believe the L.A. times reporter is going ats next year.

Thanks for responding and I’ll look for the new addition next year. When do you start talking sleepers in mlb? I love fantasy baseball (AL) and I’m always on the lookout for a new resource. I’ll check back in Feb.

    Doc

I’m just giving you the same grief I give my friends who boast about 70%, picking su. I’ve been applying all of the math, probability and stats I had in med school, for 40 years and its still

that’s cool. I do it mainly for fun. I agree with the spread is more challenging.

Once football wraps up I’ll have to shift my attention. If you want all-baseball-all-the-time, check out my pal Rotoprofessor.com. He’s on vaca right now, but dude digs into the minors and stuff and gives you the 411.
