I think so, though Mendenhall is probably a smaller cap hit.

Glad to hear your endorsement of Rice. I was able to get him cheap (coming off a bye week at TSN) - upgrade over Mendenhahl?

It's a no-action league, everyone's afraid to make deals. I even offered Drew Brees for Adrian Peterson (I was going to start Aaron Rodgers) just to upgrade my backfield and got turned down. I've also offered Aaron Rodgers and Lee Evans for DeAngelo Williams and got nowhere. I hate when guys play scared.

I like Rice even against Denver because as you mentioned he runs and catches the ball out of the backfield. You have a nice stable of backs. Maybe you can make a deal with someone to get a stud back.

I missed out on the Greene sweepstakes, guy with higher waiver priority got him. What do you think of Ray Rice vs Denver this weekend Les.

I'm starting him because of his role in the passing game, I picked up Sproles for the Raider game as my #2 RB. I still have Beanie Wells and Ahmad Bradshaw on the bench in this running by committee.
