smacked a Grand Slam.  Manny Ramirez went 2 for 4 with 2 Runs, a HR, an RBI, and Walk.  Mark DeRosa went 2 for 4 with a HR and 2 RBI.  Blake DeWitt went 2 for 4 with a Run and a Double.  Chase Utley went 1 for 4 with a Run, a Double and 2 RBI.  Shane Victorino had an RBI, 2 Walks, and a SB.  Russell Martin hit a solo HR.  Ryan Theriot went 2 for 4.  Jacoby Ellsbury went 3 for 5 with a Run, a Double, an RBI, and 2 SBs.  Jason Bay went 2 for 4 with a HR and 2 RBI.  Garret Anderson went 2 for 4 with a Run.  Torii Hunter went 2 for 3 with an RBI and a Walk.  Vladimir Guerrero and Mark Teixeira each had 2 Hits.  Kevin Youkilis, Jed Lowrie, Rafael Furcal, Andre Ethier, Jim Edmonds, Ray Durham, Carlos Ruiz, and Cole Hamels each scored a Run.  Ryan Howard walked 3 times.

Cole Hamels gave up 2 Hits in 8 scoreless Innings with 9 Ks to earn the Win for the Phillies.  Derek Lowe gave up 2 Runs in 6 Innings with 6 Ks to earn the Win for the Dodgers.  Jon Lester gave up 1 unearned Run on 6 Hits in 7 Innings with 7 Ks to win the opener for Boston.  Carlos Villanueva threw 2-1/3 Innings of scoreless relief with 3 Ks.  Jonathan Papelbon gave up 1 Hit in a scoreless ninth with 3 Ks to earn the Save for Boston.  Brad Lidge gave up a Run on 2 hits in the ninth, but he did strike out 3 to earn the Save for the Phillies.  Justin Masterson, Darren Oliver,Cory Wade, Jonathan Broxton, and Greg Maddux each pitched an Inning of scoreless relief.  John Lackey gave up 2 Runs on 4 Hits in 6 Innings with 5 Ks, but lost.
