Three Quick Fantasy Baseball Streaming Option for 5/2/10

May 2, 2010

Here are some pitchers you can plug into your lineup today.

Derek Lowe, Atlanta Braves
Lowe has not exactly been awe-inspiring with a 5.79 ERA. He does have three wins though, a number that could easily increase facing the Astros. I expect his ERA to come down today as well.
Result:  W, 5 IP, 1 Run, 3 Ks

Randy Wolf, Milwaukee Brewers
Wolf has the luxury of pitching in San Diego today. He comes in with a 2-1 record with a 3.31 ERA, 1.39 WHIP, and 22 Ks in 32-1/3 innings. The Pads are better than expected, but Wolf should still turn in a solid effort.
Result:  5 IP, 4 Runs, 5 Ks

C.J. Wilson, Texas Rangers
Wilson enters today’s game 2-1 with a 1.75 ERA, a 1.21 WHIP, and 21 Ks in 25-2/3 innings. Seattle is anything but an offensive powershouse. Wilson should mow them down.
Result:  ND, 7 IP, 1 Run, 4 Ks

Today’s Results:  1-1, 17 IP, 6 Runs, 12 Ks
Yesterday’s Streamers:  0-1, 8-2/3 IP, 7 Earned Runs, 6 Ks
Season Totals:  14-15, 257-2/3 IP, 101 Earned Runs (3.53 ERA), 170 Ks
