Quick Fantasy Baseball Streaming Options for 5/25/10

May 25, 2010

Here are some pitchers that you can plug into your lineup today.

Mike Leake, Cincinnati Reds
Leake put his 4-0 record on the line against the Pirates. I like his odds. Leake has a 2.91 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, and 39 Ks in 52-2/3 innings pitched. Even though he pitches in a hitters’ park, he’s 3-0 with a 3.31 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, and .205 BAA at home.
Result:  No-decision, 7-1/3 IP, 1 Run, 3 Ks

Mitch Talbot, Cleveland Indians
I got burned by Justin Masterson yesterday, but I’ll take my chances on Talbot against the White Sox. He is 5-3 with a 3.88 ERA, and 1.33 WHIP. He’s not a strikeout pitcher (20 in 53-1/3 IP), but is one of Cleveland’s few bright spots.
Result:  Win, 7 IP, 2 Runs, 4 Ks

Today’s Totals:  1-0, 14-1/3 IP, 3 Runs, 7 Ks
Yesterday’s Streamers:  0-1, 4 IP, 5 Runs, 0 Ks
Season Totals:  31-32, 540-2/3 IP, 237 Earned Runs (3.95 ERA), 380 Ks
