Phil Coke vs. Seattle Mariners
The last time around (April 19th) Coke gave up six runs (two earned) in 3-2/3 innings against the Mariners as he got tagged with the loss. This time around he’s pitching on his home turf. He’s gone Meatloaf as starter as “two out of three ain’t bad” giving up two runs in 13-2/3 innings in his first two starts. He’ll have to keep the walks down to come out unscathed.
Yesterday’s Totals:  No-decision, 6 IP, 8 Ks, 3.00 ERA (2 earned runs), 1.33 WHIP (5 hits, 3 walks)
Season Totals: 9-6, 147 IP, 125 Ks, 3.98 ERA (65 earned runs), 1.27 WHIP (134 hits, 53 walks)

Should I drop Britton for Edwin Jackson, Randy Wolf or Brandon McCarthy?

Jackson is too up and down. Wolf has no upside. McCarthy is off to a great start, averaging 7.5 innings per start with great peripherals. Given Britton is pitching in AL East, I may make that move.

Or should I hang onto Britton and drop Lohse? I was just going to ride Lohse…

I’d probably ride Lohse until he starts to falter.

Need a 3B to replace Rolen. Figgins, M Reynolds, or Uribe?

I’d probably try to go with Wilson Betemit or Mike Aviles if available over those guys.
