Ryan Zimmerman Extends Hit Streak to 26, A-Rod Homers
May 8, 2009
Once again Ryan Zimmerman took care of extending his hitting streak early. He singled in the first inning. His streak is now up to 26 games.
Another Third Baseman made headlines today. None other than Alex Rodriguez. A-Rod smacked a three-run HR in the first Inning. He was 1 for 4 in the game. He struck out twice. He must have inspired C.C. Sabathia because he threw a Complete Game four-hit Shutout.

A-Rod HR seemed to take the pressure off.
Cartsen Charles Sabathia Pitches a gem
The Untold story just might be Francisco Cervelli Who caught the Game. He seemed to be in control behind the game and even the Buck Martinez the O’s Color guy said Cervelli has a great personality and has the temperament to handle the catching job, If he can hit pretty good the Yankees may have a terrific Backup to Posada this year and maybe a future Catcher of the future.
