Jorge Posada Placed on the 15-Day DL

The Yankees suffered another setback when Jorge Posada went on the 15-Day DL because of a strained hamstring. With the imminent return of A-Rod and the circus atmosphere that will bring, Posada’s presence will perhaps be missed more in the Clubhouse than on the field. The 37-year old Catcher is hitting .312 with 10 Runs, 5 HRs, and 20 RBIs.
Jose Molina slides into the starting spot with Francisco Cervelli being called up to be his backup. Molina is hitting .257 with 2 Runs, 1 HR, and 5 RBI in 13 games. Cervelli was hitting just .190 with 2 HRs and 7 RBI for Triple-A Trenton. He hit .315 for them last year though. Neither have much fantasy value.
