Notable changes:
- I bumped Stephen Gostkowski to the top slot as I think New England’s offense will be firing on all cylinders this year.
- I added Neil Rackers to the list as he won Houston’s kicker battle against Kris Brown.
- I dropped Jeff Reed off the list because the Steelers could struggle early with Big Ben and Byron Leftwich out.
- I swapped Garrett Hartley and Ryan Longwell. New Orleans’ high-powered offense should allow Hartley to put up a ton of points. I don’t think the Vikings will match last season’s production.
- I added Billy Cundiff and replace Shayne Graham as Cundiff won the kicker battle in Baltimore.

There is only one time that I fail to use my last pick to select a kicker, and that is when my fantasy draft is a few weeks away from the start of the season. In that case, I don’t even take a kicker. I’ll take an extra RB or WR as insurance, and pick one up right before the season starts. That said, there is still a pecking order for the lonesome kicker. Here’s mine.
