Here are my Week 11 fantasy football quarterback rankings.

1. Philip Rivers vs. Denver
2. Michael Vick vs. New York Giants
3. Peyton Manning @ New England
4. Aaron Rodgers @ Minnesota
5. Tom Brady vs. Indianapolis
6. Drew Brees vs. Seattle
7. Jon Kitna vs. Detroit
8. Joe Flacco @ Carolina
9. Eli Manning vs. Philadelphia
10. Ben Roethlisberger vs. Oakland
11. Kyle Orton @ San Diego
12. David Garrard vs. Cleveland
13. Mark Sanchez vs. Houston
14. Matt Cassel vs. Arizona
15. Sam Bradford vs. Atlanta
16. Carson Palmer vs. Buffalo
17. Matt Schaub @ New York Jets
18. Matt Ryan @ St. Louis
19. Shaun Hill @ Dallas
20. Jay Cutler @ Miami
21. Josh Freeman @ San Francisco
22. Brett Favre vs. Green Bay
23. Ryan Fitzpatrick @ Cincinnati
24. Donovan McNabb @ Tennessee
25. Vince Young vs. Washington

Inside the numbers:

  • If Denver made Matt Cassel look like Joe Montana, Philip Rivers should be doing a Dan Fouts impersonation this week.
  • Peyton Manning has 32 touchdowns in 15 career games against New England. Most of those games the Pats had a much better pass defense than they do now. Peyton and Rivers are really 1A & 1B this week.
  • Jon Kitna and the Cowboys made the Giants look bad. They had a hard time containing the explosive Dez Bryant. The Birds have as many explosive players (Vick, McCoy, DeSean, Maclin) as any team in the league. Look for a big game from Vick.
***Update**** After Vick’s dissection of the Redskins, I bumped him up to #2.
  • The Vikings are toast. Look for Aaron Rodgers coming out of the bye to lead Brett Favre’s eulogy.
  • Tom Brady showed he can still produce AM (After Moss). He has 17 touchdowns in eight games.
  • The Cowboys are talented and the change to Jason Garrett was rewarded. Look for Kitna to put up big numbers against his former team.
  • The Raiders are tied for second in passing yards allowed per game (184.8), but have allowed 16 passing TDs. Big Ben remains a decent QB1.
