Here’s my Week 6 team defense rankings.

.

1.  Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland
2. New York Giants vs. Detroit
3. San Diego @ St. Louis
4. Tennessee @ Jacksonville
5. Miami @ Green Bay
6. Chicago vs. Seattle
7. San Francisco vs. Oakland
8. Seattle @ Chicago
9. New Orleans @ Tampa Bay
10. New York Jets @ Denver
11. Dallas @ Minnesota
12. Oakland @ San Francisco
13.  Baltimore @ New England
14. Green Bay vs. Miami
15. Philadelphia vs. Atlanta

.
Inside the numbers:

  • Pittsburgh is taking on Cleveland with Colt McCoy making his first start and Peyton Hillis banged up. This could look like a crime scene.
  • The Giants have 19 sacks, have allowed a league low 244.6 yards per game, and just 13 points the past two weeks against Chicago and Houston.
  • The Chargers has 18 sacks and are taking on the Rams, who have lost their top two WRs this season.
  • The Titans lead the league with 22 sacks.
  • It’s not that I think Miami has an elite defense, but they could like like they do against the injury ravaged Packers who will be playing with out Aaron Rodgers, Ryan Grant, and Jermichael Finley.
  • It’s kind of a crapshoot this week with three of the bottom-feeders (Arizona, Buffalo, and Carolina) on bye.
