Before we get started, check out this week’s fantasy basketball roundtable (click to read the article). Now, here’s a look at the Week 8 NBA schedule.

Four Games
Charlotte Bobcats: vs. NY, @IND, vs. UTA, @NY
The majority of teams play four this week so Stephen Jackson and Gerald Wallace are the only no-brainers. Boris Diaw has been frustrating, but he should probably be used this week, especially with two games against the Knicks. Raymond Felton should put up a ton of assists this week. Nazr Mohammed is actually a nice sleeper play. Tyson Chandler could be used from rebounds.

Cleveland Cavaliers: vs. NJ, @PHI, vs. MIL, @DAL
Aside from LeBron and Mo, the Cavs don’t really anyone you can really count on. Anderson Varejao is probably the next best option because he contributes in the hustle categories (rebounds, blocks, and steals).

Dallas Mavericks: vs. NO, @OKC, vs. HOU, vs. CLE
Josh Howard returned to the lineup, and he should be in yours next week. Otherwise it’s the usual suspects (Dirk, Kidd, Marion, Terry).

Denver Nuggets: vs. OKC, vs. HOU, @NO, @MEM
Melo, Billups, J.R. Smith, and Nene are gimmes. Kenyon Martin, Ty Lawson, and Chris Andersen are viable fantasy options this week.

Detroit Pistons: @HOU, @NO, @OKC, vs. LAL
Will Bynum should be in your fantasy lineup. If Tayshaun Prince’s back has healed he is possibility, though I’d probably wait at least a week before inserting him into your lineup. Ben Wallace should be used if you need help in the hustle categories. Jonas Jerebko has been playing very well the past couple of weeks.

Houston Rockets:  vs. DET, @DEN, @DAL, vs. OKC
Use Scola, Brooks, Landry, and Ariza. Kyle Lowry could give you a boost in assists. Shane Battier isn’t a great option, but he does contribute in every category.
