How did Week 7 go for you?

I’m in five leagues so I’ll recap each one.

KFFL Analysis League - I was lead by Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Beanie Wells, Pittsburgh D, and Nate Kaeding.  My opponent was led by Miles Austin, NY Jets D, Ronnie Brown, and Steven Jackson.  I had a nice lead and McNabb and Cooley didn’t do me in, allowing me to pick up the W.
Record:  6-1

Fantasy Football Search League – I won a shootout, putting up the top score for the week.  Carson Palmer, Ryan Grant, Reggie Wayne, Owen Daniels, and Nate Kaeding led the way.  My opponent had Peyton Manning, DeAngelo Williams, Marshawn Lynch, Hakeem Nicks, and Philly D.

Record:  4-3

Fantasy Trifecta League – There would be no repeat in my “thorn in the side” league.  Carson Palmer, Reggie Wayne, Nate Kaeding, and GB Defense did their part.  I faced Matt Schaub, Cedric Benson, and Owen Daniels.
Record:  1-5

Weekly Record: 3-2

Season Record: 21-14

How did Week 6 go for you?

I’m in five leagues so I’ll recap each one.

KFFL Analysis League - Andre Johnson, Nate Kaeding, and Rashard Mendenhall were my top players.  New England Defense and Greg Olsen were big for my opponent.  I was without Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne so I knew if I was going to win it would be ugly.  That was the case.
Record:  5-1

Fantasy Football Search League – I dominated in this league behind Randy Moss, Hines Ward, Nate Kaeding, and Owen Daniels.  I overcame Tom Brady and Adrian Peterson.  I was glad to win without Wayne.
Record:  4-2

Rotoprofessor Challenge - Mason Crosby was my top performer.  Adrian Peterson was my opponent’s.  It was an ugly week as I took the loss.  Playing without Ronnie Brown and Wayne didn’t help.
Record:  4-2

My Keeper League –  Andre Johnson and Owen Daniels were solid.  Tom Brady and DeAngelo Williams killed me.  I had the fourth highest score, but took the loss.
Record:  4-2

Fantasy Trifecta League –  Green Bay D was a sweet waiver wire pickup.  Hines Ward and Adrian Peterson were great for my opponent.  Finally, winner, winner, chicken dinner.
Record:  1-5

Weekly Record:  3-2
Season Record: 18-12

How did Week 4 go for you?

I’m in five leagues so I’ll recap each one.

KFFL Analysis League - I rolled again scoring the most points in the league.  Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne were a great combo.  Kevin Smith gutted it out and scored 2 TDs.  SF D was nasty.  Antonio Gates just piled on.
Record:  3-1

Fantasy Football Search League –  I picked up a Win here as well.  Carson Palmer, Kevin Smith, Randy Moss, Reggie Wayne, and SF D led the way for me.  Antonio Gates, Mewelde Moore, Steve Slaton, Derrick Mason, and Cincy D were tough opponents.  Brett Favre nearly gave me a loss, but Ryan Grant did just enough to preserve the victory.  We were by far the two highest scoring teams this week.  It sucks that one of us had to lose.
Record:  3-1

Rotoprofessor Challenge - I dominated here also putting up the highest score.  Jay Cutler, Reggie Wayne, Ronnie Brown, and SF D were my top scorers.  Steve Smith was a tough foe.
Record:  3-1

My Keeper League – I won in this league as well.  Carson Palmer and Ocho made a good combo for me.  Pierre Thomas and Brandon Marshall were solid.  Cincy D was a tough foe.
Record:  3-1

Fantasy Trifecta League – Then there’s this league.  Palmer, Ocho, and Wayne, and Moreno led the way.  Manning, D. Mason, Forte, Heath Miller, and Addai took me down.
Record:  0-4

Weekly Record: 4-1
Season Record: 12-8

How did Week 3 go for you?

I’m in five leagues so I’ll recap each one.

KFFL Analysis League -  I bounced back in a big way.  Peyton Manning, Kevin Smith, Reggie Wayne, Jerricho Cotchery, and Baltimore D had good games for me.  Steven Jackson, Anquan Boldin, and Nate Burleson had big games against me.
Record:  2-1

Fantasy Football Search League –  My team dominated.  I rented Kevin Kolb for the day.  Kevin Smith, Randy Moss, and Reggie Wayne had big games for me.  My opponent got a big effort from Brandon Marshall and not much else.
Record:  2-1

Rotoprofessor Challenge - Jay Cutler, Reggie Wayne, and Baltimore D had big games for me.  T.O. and Ted Ginn, Jr. didn’t even catch a pass.  My opponent had solid games from Philip Rivers and Stephen Gostkowski.  Dallas D finished me off.
Record:  2-1

My Keeper League – The Giants D and Brandon Marshall were my top performers.  It was a solid all-around effort.  My opponent got nice games from Baltimore D and Dallas Clark, but didn’t have enough to pick up the Win.
Record:  2-1

Fantasy Trifecta League – I got smoked again.  This team sucks.  Reggie Wayne and NYG D were my only players.  Aaron Rodgers went off aginst me.  Jerricho Cotchery and Steven Jackson also did damage.
Record:  0-3

Weekly Record:  3-2
Season Record: 8-7

I’m in five leagues so I’ll recap each one.

How did Week 1 go for you?  Did you start off with a W or an L?

I’m in five leagues so I’ll recap each one.

KFFL Analysis League - I won this one.  The Manning to Wayne combo was great.  Kevin Smith and Patrick Crayton chipped in.  Matt Hasselbeck and Devery Henderson were solid for my opponent.
Record:  1-0

Fantasy Football Search League - Another good start for me.  Reggie Wayne, Kevin Smith, Randy Moss, and Hines Ward led the way.  Greg Jennings, Matt Ryan and Frank Gore were my toughest opponents.
Record:  1-0

Rotoprofessor Challenge - Iwas able to shrug off Drew Brees’ monster game and pick up the W.  McNabb did well before getting hurt.  Reggie Wayne and John Carlson did the rest.  Brees didn’t have much help other than Tennessee D.
Record:  1-0

My Keeper League – Once again I ran into Drew Brees.  He had company though with Randy Moss and MJD.  The guy I played always seems to have monster games against me.  Fitz and Giants D were the only bright spots.
Record:  0-1

Fantasy Trifecta League – One final drubbing at the hands of Brees.  This one started off bad as Santonio Holmes took it to me.  This team straight up blew chunks.  Only Reggie Wayne and Ryan Grant showed up.
Record:  0-1

Weekly Record: 3-2
Season Record: 3-2

How did Week 16 go for you?  Did you win the Championship?  Third Place Game?  Toilet Bowl?

I’m in six leagues so I’ll recap each one.

KFFL Analysis League (PPR League) - I missed the playoffs in this league.  First time in a PPR league.  I’m not a fan of them, but if I am ever in another one, I’ll have a better feel for it.
Record:  6-7

Cage Match League (The Legend vs. Awesome) - As this is a head-to-head league, this game is our Super Bowl.  It just worked out that we were both 7-7 heading into a winner take all two-week showdown.  I took the lead in the first week.  In the second week I got strong play from Drew Brees, Westbrook, Fitz, and Gates.  Awesome got nice balance from Romo, Turner, Pierre Thomas, Randy Moss, Welker, and Gonzo.  Minnesota D stunk it up.  Andre Johnson did for me, but I did enough to earn the W and the league championship.
Record:  7-7

LEV League - This was a Losers’ Bracket 7th place game for me.  Reggie Wayne got me off to a great start, but my opponent got an even better jump from Peyton Manning.  T.O. was solid for me on Saturday.  Philip Rivers and Stephen Gostkowski were awesome for me.  Housh and Ronnie Brown let me down.  LEV got strong play from Colston and Owen Daniels.  Roddy White, Hightower, MB3, and Tampa D did him in.  I won this one.
Record:  7-7

Fantasy Sports Depot League -  I didn’t make the playoffs and there was no Losers’ Bracket.
Record:  6-8

My Keeper League - Third Place game.  Peyton Manning got me off to a great start.  Jason Witten did the same for my opponent.  Fitz, Owen Daniels, Thomas Jones, Lynch, and NO D were solid for me.  Housh and Deion Branch were awful for me.  Kevin Smith was the only other solid scorer for my opponent.  Dan Orlovsky (Kurt Warner was his regular starter), Santana Moss, and Berrian sucked for him.  I took the Third Place game.
Record:  6-8

No Kicker League -  Third Place game.  Reggie Wayne got me off to a great start.  Baltimore D didn’t come through for my opponent.  Kurt Warner sucked real bad.  So did Dwayne Bowe, Cooley, and Jets D.  Fitz, Slaton, Benson, and Westbrook were solid, but they weren’t enough.  My opponent had Vincent Jackson, Michael Turner, Sammy Morris, and Clinton Portis.
Record:  11-3

Regular Season Record:  43-40
Playoff Record:  3-4
Titles:  1

How did Week 15 go for you?  Still fighting for the Championship?  Tearing up the Losers’ Bracket?

I’m in six leagues so I’ll recap each one.

KFFL Analysis League (PPR League) - I missed the playoffs in this league.  First time in a PPR league.  I’m not a fan of them, but if I am ever in another one, I’ll have a better feel for it.
Record:  6-7

Cage Match League (The Legend vs. Awesome) - As this is a head-to-head league, this game is our Super Bowl.  It just worked out that we were both 7-7 heading into a winner take all showdown. Tony Romo, Slaton, MJD, Gonzo, T.Jones and Pitt D were solid for Awesome.  Boldin, Roddy White, and Marshall didn’t deliver.  Westbrook, Fitz, Jennings, and Gates weren’t the greatest for me.  Kurt Warner, AP, Steve Smith, LT, and Philly D gave me the lead in this two-week Championship.
Record:  7-7

LEV League - This was a Losers’ Bracket game for me.  Lance Moore did little for my opponent on Thursday.  Philip Rivers had a great game.  Reggie Wayne and Slaton were decent.  Housh, Ronnie Brown, Gostowski, T.O., Kevin Boss, and NE DEF weren’t great.  Dallas Clark did great for my opponent.  Favre, Adrian Peterson, and John Kasay were decent.  Kevin Walter and LenDale did nothing.  I lost this one.
Record:  7-7

Fantasy Sports Depot League -  Easily the weirdest fantasy football format I’ve played came to an end last week.  Points were rewarded for return yards.  Lots of them.  In fact, 60 returns yards were as much as a TD.  There was also IDP rather than Team Defense.  I struggled to grasp this league.  To top it off, there wasn’t even a Losers’ bracket.  If you’re setting up a league, at least give the guys who miss out the Toilet Bowl to keep them interested.  Otherwise it takes away from the guys in the playoffs as everyone else has no incentive to check the league site.
Record:  6-8

My Keeper League - First round of the playoffs.  I drew the top seed.  Matt Forte got off to a decent start for my opponent.  I got blitzed.  My trade of Andre Johnson for Chris Johnson should help me next year as a keeper, as well as helping me go on a run to make the playoffs.  This week though, AJ made me pay.  I snoozed on Dominic Rhodes and my opponent plugged and played.  Reggie Wayne did well, which I predicted last week.  At least I was right.  Peyton had a nice game along with Thomas Jones and Rob Bironas.  Housh did nothing.  Neither did Fitz, Indy D, Chris Johnson, or Owen Daniels.  I got smoked.
Record:  6-8

No Kicker League -  First round of the playoffs.  I’m the top seed.  Reggie Bush did little for me.  Unfortunately I faced Forte again and Colston.  I got blitzed.  Tyler Thigpen, Rhodes, Dallas Clark, and even Maurice Morris got me.   Roddy White was average for JP.  Warner, Wayne and Slaton were decent for me.  Cooley, Fitz, and Wash D sucked.  I got bounced.
Record:  11-3

Season Record:  43-40
Playoff Record:  0-3
