There were some unusual heroes this week. There always are. Let’s take a look at them and see if they are worthy of your fantasy rosters.
.
Chris Ivory, RB, New Orleans Saints
Ivory ran for 72 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. He added a 13-yard catch. He doesn’t get enough opportunities.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Danario Alexander, WR, San Diego Chargers
Alexander caught five of seven targets for 134 yards and a touchdown. He has a ton of talent and has a chance to do some solid things. Staying healthy, which has been an issue in the past, will be the key.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Donald Jones, WR, Buffalo Bills
Jones caught six of ten targets for 74 yards and a touchdown. He’s particularly solid in PPR leagues, but probably isn’t worthy of a roster spot in standard leagues.
Ruling:  Get ‘em (PPR), Don’t Sweat ‘em (Standard)
.
Laurent Robinson, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Robinson was targeted 15 times in the loss to Indianapolis. He caught nine passes for 77 yards. He is a PPR option, but can be left alone in standard leagues.
Ruling:  Get ‘em (PPR), Don’t Sweat ‘em (Standard)
.
Mohamed Sanu, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
Sanu caught four of six targets for 47 yards and a touchdown. Look elsewhere.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Brandon Stokley, WR, Denver Broncos
Stokley caught four of five targets for 54 yards and a score. He’s only worth considering in deep PPR leagues.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Golden Tate, WR, Seattle Seahawks
Tate caught both of his targets for 51 yards and a touchdown. He also threw a touchdown pass. He’s still a risky play, but he’s up to six touchdowns on the year.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Jarius Wright, WR, Minnesota Vikings
Wright caught three of five passes for 65 yards and a touchdown. Nice debut, but you would have to see more to consider him.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Greg Olsen, TE, Carolina Panthers
Olsen caught nine of ten targets for 102 yards and two touchdowns. He’s a solid TE2 with some TE1 upside.
Ruling: Get ‘em.
.
Kyle Rudolph, TE, Minnesota Vikings
Rudolph may have been dropped in  your league after some poor performances. He caught seven of nine targets for 64 yards and a touchdown. There is no guarantee he’ll get good quarterback play again, plus he’s going on bye.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
