.
There were some unusual heroes this week. There always are. Let’s take a look at them and see if they are worthy of your fantasy rosters.
.
Chad Henne, QB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Henne threw for 354 yards and four touchdowns. I still don’t trust their offense.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Bryce Brown, RB, Philadelphia Eagles
Brown ran for 35 yards on five carries. LeSean McCoy was concussed so Brown could get the start this week.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Ronnie Hillman, RB, Denver Broncos
Hillman ran for 43 yards on 12 carries. He added two catches for 16 yards. He’s worth a grab if Willis McGahee misses any action.
Ruling: Get ‘em.
.
Mark Ingram, RB, New Orleans Saints
The Saints have a muddy backfield, but Ingram is coming on as the primary back. He ran for 67 yards and a touchdown on 12 carries.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Jalen Parmele, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Parmele ran for 84 yards on 24 carries. Starting running backs should be on roster.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Bilal Powell, RB, New York Jets
Powell ran for 42 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries. He added two catches for 18 yards. He’s not a great option.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
James Starks, RB, Green Bay Packers
Starks carried  the ball 25 times for 74 yards. He added a six-yard reception. He’s worth a roster spot because of his volume of touches.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Danario Alexander, WR, San Diego Chargers
Alexander caught seven of 11 targets for 96 yards and two touchdowns. He’s heating up and should be owned.
Ruling: Get ‘em.
.
Davone Bess, WR, Miami Dolphins
Bess caught six of 11 targets for 50 yards and a touchdown. It was his first score of the year. He provides decent depth, especially in PPR leagues. He has the Patriots coming up in a few weeks. He always plays them well.
Ruling:  Get ‘em (especially PPR leagues).
.
Justin Blackmon, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Blackmon caught seven of 13 targets for 236 yards and a touchdown. It’s hard not to add a guy after an explosion like that.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Julian Edelman, WR, New England Patriots
Edelman caught five of seven targets for 58 yards and a touchdown. He added a 47-yard run. He doesn’t do enough for a fantasy spot.
Ruling: Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Brandon Gibson, WR, St. Louis Rams
Gibson caught three of five targets for nine yards and two touchdowns. He’s not a great option despite the pair of scores.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
T.Y. Hilton, WR, Indianapolis Colts
Hilton caught six of nine targets for 100 yards and two touchdowns. He didn’t catch a pass the previous week so consistency could be an issue. That’s two 100-yard games in three weeks though.
Ruling: Get ‘em
.
Brandon LaFell, WR, Carolina Panthers
LaFell caught five of seven targets for 93 yards and a touchdown. He’s coming on and should be rostered.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Mohamed Sanu, WR, Cincinnati Bengals
Sanu caught two of four targets for 22 yards and a touchdown. It was his second straight week scoring, but he is not producing enough for a fantasy spot.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Chaz Schilens, WR, New York Jets
Schilens caught four of five targets for 48 yards and a touchdown. I don’t trust the Jets’ passing game.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Dallas Clark, TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Clark caught seven of 11 targets for 58 yards and a touchdown. He has three scores in the past five games. He’s a decent TE2.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Jermichael Finley, TE, Green Bay Packers
Finley caught all three of his targets for 66 yards and a touchdown. The bye week served him well.
Ruling:  Get ‘em.
.
Garrett Graham, TE, Houston Texans
Graham caught eight of nine targets for 82 yards and two touchdowns. That is not the norm for Graham.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Tony Moeaki, TE, Kansas City Chiefs
Moeaki caught four of six targets for 73 yards. He had 68 yards last week, but is still a low-end option.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
.
Benjamin Watson, TE, Cleveland Browns
Watson caught four of eight targets for 47 yards and a pair of touchdowns. It was only his second time topping 40 yards and he had one touchdown prior.
Ruling:  Don’t Sweat ‘em.
