Here’s a look at LestersLegends’ 2011 fantasy football IDP rankings.
.
1.  Jerod Mayo, New England Patriots @ Miami:  Mayo had 22 tackles and a sack against the Dolphins last year.
.
2.  Patrick Willis, San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle:  Willis had 17 tackles against the Seahawks last year.
.
3.  Lawrence Timmons, Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore:  Simmons had 21 tackles against Baltimore last year.
.
4.  Ray Lewis, Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh:  Lewis had 22 tackles against Pittsburgh last year. Plus, he’ll be fresh.
.
5.  Ndamukong Suh, Detroit Lions @ Tampa Bay:  Tampa kept him in check last year. I’m afraid that won’t be the case this time.
.
6.  Paul Posluszny, Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee:  Poz returns will be busy chasing after Chris Johnson.
.
7.  James Laurinaitis, St. Louis Rams vs. Philadealphia:  Laurinaitis will be busy trying to slow Philly’s potent offense.
.
8.  Chad Greenway, Minnesota Vikings @ San Diego:  Could be a long day for Vikings’ defense, which could lead to a lot of Greenway tackles.
.
9.  Eric Weddle, San Diego Chargers vs. Minnesota:  Weddle should rack up the tackles supporting the run defense.
.
10.  John Abraham, Atlanta Falcons @ Chicago:  Ray Edwards will take some pressure off. Nobody got sacked as much as Cutler last year.
.
11.  Stephen Tulloch, Detroit Lions @ Tampa Bay:  New team, but the tackles should follow.
.
12.  Brian Urlacher, Chicago Bears vs. Atlanta:  The Falcons may pass more, but Turner will still get his carries. Urlacher should have a healthy tackle total.
.
13.  Tamba Hali, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Buffalo:  Should be a load for the Bills to handle.
.
14.  Troy Polamalu, Pittsburgh Steelers @ Baltimore:  Troy typically starts off the season playing like a man possessed.
.
15.  Donte Whitner, San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle:  Had 140 tackles last year. Should clean up just about anything Willis misses.

Here’s a look at my 2011 fantasy football IDP rankings.
.
1.  Jerod Mayo, New England Patriots:  Mayo collected 175 tackles last year with two sacks. Simply a beast.
.
2.  Patrick Willis, San Francisco 49ers:  Willis had 128 tackles and six sacks in a “down” year.
.
3.  James Harrison, Pittsburgh Steelers:  As long as he escapes a suspension for his comments (or hits), he’s a beast. Only player with double-digit sacks and 80+ tackles (100 to be exact).
.
4.  Justin Tuck, New York Giants:  Tuck registered 11.5 sacks and 76 tackles.
.
5.  Ndamukong Suh, Detroit Lions:  As a rookie he managed ten sacks and 66 tackles. That ladies and gentlemen is frightening.
.
6.  DeMarcus Ware, Dallas Cowboys:  15.5 sacks and 66 tackles. Unbelievable.
.
7.  Trent Cole, Philadelphia Eagles:  The Eagles have beefed up their defense, but Cole (10 sacks, 65 tackles last year) has averaged 11 sacks and 67.3 tackles over the past four years.
.
8.  Paul Posluszny, Jacksonville Jaguars:  Poz returns to a 4-3 where he should simply rack up the tackles like it’s nobody’s business.
.
9.  Lawrence Timmons, Pittsburgh Steelers:  135 tackles, 3.0 sacks, two interceptions, two fumble recoveries. He can do it all.
.
10.  James Laurinaitis, St. Louis Rams:  Laurinaitis has averaged 117 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 1.5 interceptions in his two years in the league.
.
11. Stephen Tulloch, Detroit Lions: Tulloch had 160 tackles last year for the Titans. Time will tell how the switch to the Lions affects his fantasy value.
.
12.  Brian Urlacher, Chicago Bears:  Urlacher had 125 tackles and four sacks last year.
.
13.  Tamba Hali, Kansas City Chiefs:  Collected 14.5 sacks and 51 tackles last year.
.
14.  Clay Matthews, Green Bay Packers:  Impossible to block it seemed.  13.5 sacks and 60 tackles.
.
15.  Chad Greenway, Minnesota Vikings:  With a weakened defensive line, more tackles could come from the linebackers. Greenway had 144 last year.
