Syracuse basketball coach Jim Boeheim was named the AP Coach of the Year. While I would have like to see them playing this weekend, I thought it was an outstanding year. This award only further cements that truth.

Congrats Mr. Boeheim. Can’t wait until next year.

Orange Bubble Bursts

That orange liquid that splattered all over Syracuse fans was Syracuse’s NCAA tournament bubble bursting following the 82-63 loss to Villanova.

In this must win, Syracuse relied on fresmen Johnny Flynn and Donte Green, as they have had most of the year. Donte Green led Syracuse with 17.4 points per game. Flynn was third, following Green and Devendorf’s 17.0 ppg, with a 15.7 point average. He also led the team with 5.2 assists per night. Tonight both Flynn and Green scored 21 points. Flynn added seven assists. Arinze Onuaku and Paul Harris chipped in with 14 points apiece.
