.
.
Arian Foster:  The hamstring needs to heal. The Texans are best to sit him out and let Tate do the work. I wouldn’t consider using him this week.
.
Antonio Gates:  I didn’t draft Gates in any league because of his recent injury history. He’s gives your opponents nightmares when he plays, but all to often it’s you that’s worrying about his status. Sounds like he should go despite missing practice all week, but he likely won’t have to play the entire game since the Chiefs are terrible. If you are a gambler play him. Otherwise go for a safer bet.
.
Beanie Wells:  It didn’t take long for Beanie (hamstring) to get nicked up. He’s not a tough runner when he’s banged up. That’s if he plays. I’d look elsewhere.
.
Dallas Clark:  Clark’s foot is giving him issues. Given how bad the Colts have been and the fact that they’re playing Pittsburgh, I’d look elsewhere.
.
Dez Bryant:  He’s playing on Monday Night Football so make sure you’re ready to add a Cowboys or Redskins receiver if he can’t go.
.
Felix Jones:  This one is tough. They don’t play until Monday so you’re going out on a limb. If you have another solid option, I’d go that route.
.
Marcedes Lewis:  Looks like he’ll play, but how effective will he be? Especially considering the Jags turned to Blaine Gabbert.
.
Michael Vick:  You knew this would be an issue when you drafted him. He looks like a go so you have to play him.
.
Percy Harvin:  Thankfully he wasn’t dealing with a migraine. Percy returned to practice and is a go against Detroit.
.
Peyton Hills:  So much for giving Hillis a reduced role. The Browns are working him into the ground again. That said, he should be good to go this week and should be in your fantasy lineup.
.
Tony Romo:  The lung is healed. The ribs will be shot up and protected with special equipment. Looks safe to start.

New Daddy Tom Brady missed practice today. He’s locked and loaded to play this week against Carolina.

Jake Delhomme (finger) missed practice and likely won’t play this week. That sound is Panthers fans celebrating. Matt Moore will make the start, but he shouldn’t be used against the Patriots.

Monday Night darling Jermichael Finley (knee) was limited in practice, but should be good to go as the Pack takes on the Bears.

DeSean Jackson
(concussion) was able to practice and should face the Giants this weekend. Meanwhile, Jeremy Maclin (foot) missed practiced, though he’s expected to play as well.

Steven Jackson (back) was held out of practice. He should play this week, but you have to start worrying about the Rams shutting him down for the year in this lost season.

Chris Johnson missed practice today, but don’t worry unless he can’t go tomorrow.

Matt Ryan (toe) missed practice today, but appears on pace to return this week against New Orleans. I would make alternate plans.

Mark Sanchez (knee) will miss a golden opportunity as the Jets take on the Bucs this weekend. Unfortunately Sanchez won’t play. Kellen Clemens will get the start, but he provides about as much excitement as Jon & Kate reuniting.

Cedric Benson (hip) was able to practice  today. He should be able to go, and put up huge numbers, against Detroit. Bernard Scott (toe) missed practice today. With Benson health, and LJ showing he can still produce, it’s probably safe to cut Scott loose.

Brent Celek (thumb) was able to practice today. He should be able to play this week and begin earning that large pay increase.

Jake Delhomme (finger) will miss this weekend’s game. If you were relying on him, this week’s game doesn’t matter to you. I do have more faith in the running game and Steve Smith with Delhomme on the sidelines.

Just stating the obvious in case you got burned last week by Big Ben or Kurt Warner, DeSean Jackson (concussion) will miss this week’s game.

Steven Jackson
(back) missed practice today. He showed his toughness last week by fighting through the pain. He’ll give it a go this week as well.

Calvin Johnson (knee) was able to practice today, and he should be able to play this week, especially with the long layoff following the Thanksgiving game. Matthew Stafford (shoulder) also practiced and is expected to play.

Maurice Jones-Drew missed practice today, but expect him to be ready to face Houston.

Kurt Warner (concussion) practiced, but he’s far from a lock to play this week. Unless you have Matt Leinart or Joe Flacco (who plays Monday night), you may have to give up on starting Warner this week because of their late start.

DeAngelo Williams
(ankle) missed practice today. Not only am I not worried about his status against Tampa Bay, I think he’ll be one of the highest scoring players this weekend. His running mate Jonathan Stewart (heel) also missed practice. That has been a routine this year. I expect big things from J-Stew as well.

Cedric Benson (hip) missed practice today. There won’t be an answer on his status until Sunday morning, so monitor the situation. If he didn’t have such a cushy match-up against Cleveland, I’d say hold off on him this week.

Reggie Bush
(knee) returned to practice after missing last week’s game. He has an extra day of rest because, I’m not sure if you heard or not, the Saints take on the Patriots on MNF.

Laveranues Coles (chest) missed practice this week. He’s not an ideal play, but a decent WR3 or flex play in deeper leagues.

Steven Jackson
(back) missed practice today. He’s a workhorse though, and he’ll play against Seattle this weekend.

Julius Jones (lung, ribs) did not practice, but is expected to play this weekend. I think he’ll be eased back into the lineup as Seattle uses this chance to continue to see what Justin Forsett brings to the table.

Marshawn Lynch
(shoulder) was able to practice and is on target to play against the Dolphins. I don’t love him this week in anything other than a flex spot.

Ben Roethlisberger
(concussion) was able to practice today, and it appears that he’ll foolishly play against Baltimore on Sunday. I pray that he doesn’t get hit in the head again. Not because I own him in any leagues, but because I think he should play it safe and sit a game out. It appears Kurt Warner will also play despite suffering a mild concussion, which makes even less sense given the Cardinals stranglehold on their division.

Tony Romo
(back) was able to practice today, and he will be fine to take on the Raiders on Thanksgiving.

Steve Slaton
(shoulder) missed practice today. It’s probably in part because they played on Monday Night Football. He should be good to go against the Colts on Sunday, but I wouldn’t suggest putting him in your lineup.

Michael Turner
(ankle) was limited in practice, which is a good sign, but I don’t think he’ll be able to play this week. Meanwhile Jerious Norwood (hip) was able to practice and could return to action. He’ll remain a change of pace back as Jason Snelling earned the starting gig last week.

Kellen Winslow, Jr.
(knee) was limited in practice, but the self-professed warrior will be able to play against Atlanta.

Jason Witten (foot) was limited in practice today. He’ll likely give it a go tomorrow, but I’m not sure you can trust him this week. He’s been one of the bigger fantasy busts this year. There, I said it.

Cedric Benson (hip) didn’t practice this week. With Oakland on tap, I would be shocked if the Bengals risked Ced’s health this week.

Bernard Berrian
(hamstring) and Brett Favre were both limited in practice today. They should both be fine against Seattle, but only Favre is worth a starting fantasy spot this week.

Steve Breaston (knee) was limited in practice again, but remains a strong WR3 this week against St. Louis.

I’m sure by now you’ve heard that Ronnie Brown is out for the year. I had high hopes for him coming into the year as he was over a year removed from his 2007 season-ending knee injury. He didn’t disappoint until he hurt his foot. That isn’t comforting to the fantasy owner (myself included) who is scrambling to replace him. His keeper and dynasty value took just as big of a hit. Can you really count on him as one of your key players?

Reggie Bush (knee) missed practice today. I’m starting to worry about his availability. Pierre Thomas owners should have their fingers crossed that he misses the game against Tampa Bay.

Todd Heap
(ribs) missed practice. Now that the bye weeks are over, feel free to cut him loose if you have a solid starting TE.

Brandon Marshall
(back) was able to practice today. I’d have a lot more faith in him if his QB situation wasn’t so shaky. Kyle Orton (ankle) is trying to gut it out and Chris Simms was awful last week. You have to play him if he’s good to go, but don’t expect another strong showing.
