Ryan Zimmerman went 0 for 3 today with a Run and a pair of Walks to snap his 30-game Hitting streak.  It’s only the second game of the year that Zimmerman failed to collect a Hit.

Washington did win the game though as Shairon Martis improved to 5-0.

Ryan Zimmerman did it again.  Another first inning single to run his hitting streak up to 30 games.  He’s currently hitting .368.

Not quite as solid a start for the other Zimmermann as Jordan gave up 2 first inning runs.

Once again Ryan Zimmerman did not waste any time taking care of his hitting streak.  He extended it to 29 games with a first inning Single.  He is 1 for 2 in the game and is currently hitting .348.

If Randy Johnson can hold on to his 3-2 lead he’s in line to win his 298th career game.

Ryan Zimmerman celebrated Mother’s Day by extending his hitting streak to 28 games with a first inning single.  He picked up 3 Hits on the day to raise his batting average to .346.

Ryan Zimmerman didn’t take care of extending his hitting streak early like he had the previous few games.  Instead he waited until the 8th inning to smack a HR and give Washington a 2-0 lead.  It was Zimmerman’s 6th HR on the year.

Once again Ryan Zimmerman took care of extending his hitting streak early. He singled in the first inning.  His streak is now up to 26 games.

Another Third Baseman made headlines today.  None other than Alex Rodriguez.  A-Rod smacked a three-run HR in the first Inning.  He was 1 for 4 in the game.  He struck out twice.  He must have inspired C.C. Sabathia because he threw a Complete Game four-hit Shutout.

Ryan Zimmerman did not waste any time extending his hitting streak to 25 games.  He picked up a Single in the first inning off the Dodgers’ Randy Wolf.

Juan Pierre started in Left Field for the suspended Manny Ramirez.  Matt Kemp hit a Grand Slam.

Washington Nationals’ Third Baseman Ryan Zimmerman singled in the top of the First Inning to extend his hitting streak to 24 games.
