Kenyan Drake

Sometimes because of match-ups you have to roll out less than ideal lineups, especially when your players are nicked up. That’s the nature of the beast. Sometimes you need a fantasy gem to be successful. Here are some of the under the radar players that could possibly pull out a win for you.
.
Bye Week:  Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles Chargers, Minnesota, New England, Pittsburgh
.
Jacoby Brissett, QB, Indianapolis Colts – The Texans are tied for 25th with 14 passing touchdowns allowed. Playing from behind, Brissett will have to pass a lot.
Jared Goff, QB, Los Angeles Rams – The Giants rank 27th in the league with 258.7 passing yards allowed and tied for 25th with 14 passing touchdowns given up.
Josh McCown, QB, New York Jets – Buffalo ranks 29th in the league with 266.4 passing yards allowed per game.
Orleans Darkwa, RB, New York Giants – Rams have allowed 123.1 yards per game and eight rushing scores.
Kenyan Drake and Damien Williams, RBs, Miami Dolphins – Gets first crack following the Jay Ajayi trade. If he falters, Williams could seize the job. Oakland is  120.4 rushing yards per game.
Derrick Henry, RB, Tennessee Titans – Baltimore has allowed 132.8 rushing yards per game. Could be enough for Henry and Murray to be productive.
Alfred Morris and Darren McFadden, RBs, Dallas Cowboys – Same deal as the Dolphins. This situation is up for grabs.
Brandon Coleman, WR, New Orleans Saints – Tampa Bay has allowed 274.7 ypg.
Jordan Matthews, WR, Buffalo Bills – The Jets have allowed 17 passing scores. I don’t think Kelvin Benjamin will be quite up to speed.
Curtis Samuel and Russell Shepard, WR, Carolina Panthers – With Kelvin Benjamin moving on to Buffalo, additional targets are available.
Robert Woods, WR, Los Angeles Rams - The Giants rank 27th in the league with 258.7 passing yards allowed and tied for 25th with 14 passing touchdowns given up. Averaging 64 yards in his past five games.
Vernon Davis, TE, Washington Redskins – Always a bump when Jordan Reed misses time.
Ed Dickson, TE, Carolina Panthers – Again, targets are up for grabs in Carolina.
Jack Doyle, TE, Indianapolis Colts – Should be active against Houston.
Oakland Raiders Defense – Miami is averaging 13.1 point per game.
San Francisco 49ers Defense – Arizona is inept without Carson Palmer.

During the bye weeks you often have to roll out less than ideal lineups, especially when your players are nicked up. That’s the nature of the beast. Sometimes you need a fantasy gem to be successful. Here are some of the under the radar players that could possibly pull out a win for you.
.

Josh Freeman, QB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Freeman is taking on Atlanta, who ranks 25th in the league at stopping the pass (260.3 ypg). They are also tied for 18th with 11 passing TDs allowed. Freeman is playing on the road where his passer rating is 101.5 and he averages 245.3 ypg, compared to 78.9 and 199.3 at home.
.
Fred Jackson, RB, Buffalo Bills
People may shy away from Jackson because he’s taking on the Bears’ fifth-ranked run defense (89.3 rushing yards allowed per game), but Jackson held his own against Baltimore (77 total yards) and Kansas City (75 total yards).
.
Shonn Greene, RB, New York Jets
Greene has his best games when the Jets are able to get ahead and he helps close out the opponent. That could be in order this week as he takes on a Lions’ run defense allowing 130.4 ypg and 4.9 ypc. continue reading »
