Three Quick Fantasy Baseball Streaming Options for 4/23/10

Apr 23, 2010

Here are some pitchers you can plug into your lineup today.

Paul Maholm, Pittsburgh Pirates
I know after yielding 20 runs to the Brewers, you want no parts of a Pirates pitcher. He’s not facing the Brew Crew though. He’s taking on the hapless Houston Astros. Maholm squares off against Roy Oswalt, which puts a damper on his prospects of picking up a win. He does stand a good chance of lowering his 4.58 ERA and 1.36 WHIP while adding to his 11 Ks.
Result:  Loss, 7 IP, 4 Ks, 3 Ks

Carl Pavano, Minnesota Twins
He faced the Royals last week and got rocked. I’ll try my chances with Pavano again. If nothing else, a win should be in order.
Result:  Win, 7 IP, 2 Runs, 5 Ks

Justin Duchscherer, Oakland A’s
After getting rocked in his 2010 debut to the tune of 5 runs in 5-2/3 innings, Duchscherer has allowed just 2 unearned runs in his last 13 innings to lower his ERA to 2.41. He should fare well against the Indians.
Result:  Win, 6 IP, 0 Runs, 2 Ks

Today’s Results:  2-1, 20 IP, 6 Runs, 10 Ks
Yesterday’s Streamers
:  W, 6 IP, 0 Runs, 3 Ks
Season Totals:  8-8, 129 IP, 51 Earned Runs (3.56 ERA), 86 Ks
