Two Quick Fantasy Baseball Streaming Option for 4/29/10

Apr 29, 2010

Here are some pitchers you can plug into your lineup today.

Doug Davis, Milwaukee Brewers
Davis has been pounded pretty hard thus far to the tune of a robust 8.35 ERA and 2.07 WHIP. The last time out, though, he gave up just 2 runs in 6-1/3 IP. His saving grace has been the 19 Ks he’s recorded in 18-1/3 innings. He has a decnet match-up against San Diego. If you need some help in the strikeout category and aren’t concerned with a potential blow to your ERA & WHIP, Davis could be your guy.
Result:  Loss, 4 IP, 5 Earned Runs, 5 Ks

Carl Pavano, Minnesota Twins
The Twins have yet to lose a series this year. If they are going to keep that streak intact, it will fall on Pavano’s shoulder as he takes on the Tigers (Dontrelle Willis). Pavano is 3-1 with a 4.24 ERA, a 1.11 WHIP, and 17 Ks in 23-1/3 innings.
Result:  Complete Game Loss, 8 IP, 2 Earned Runs, 5 Ks

Today’s Totals:  0-2, 12 IP, 7 Earned Runs, 10 Ks
Yesterday’s Streamers
:  2-0,  18-2/3 IP, 8 Runs, 17 Ks
Season Totals:  12-12, 219 IP, 83 Earned Runs (3.41 ERA), 140 Ks
