Two Quick Fantasy Baseball Streaming Options for 4/17/10

Apr 17, 2010

Here are some pitchers you can plug into your lineup today.

Randy Wolf, Milwaukee Brewers
He plays the Nationals, so a win is fairly likely. He should post a low ERA and a high strikeout count.
Result:  Loss, 5 IP, 4 Runs, 4 Ks

Nick Blackburn, Minnesota Twins
Blackburn also is a good bet for a win as he faces the Royals. His home-road splits may not be as telling because of the new ballpark, but it’s interesting to note he was 7-4 with a 4.18 ERA and 54 Ks in 97 home innings vs. 4-7 with a 3.89 ERA and 44 Ks in 108-2/3 innings last year.
Result:  5 IP, 5 runs, 3 Ks

Total:  0-1, 10 IP, 9 runs, 7 Ks
Yesterday’s Streamers
:  1-1, 13 IP, 13 Ks
Season Totals:  3-3, 50-1/3 IP, 16 Earned Runs (2.81 ERA), 37 Ks
