Week 7 Fill-ins
Is the bye week hitting you hard? How about injuries? How about just plain bad matchups? Here are some guys you can plug-in this weekend.
Brian Griese – He’s thrown for 881 yards the past three weeks to go along with 7 TDs. He has a decent mathcup against Philly.
Jeff Garcia – He’s only thrown for 771 yards the past four weeks, but he has 5 TDs (plus a rushing TD) to only 1 INT. The biggest thing is his matchup against Detroit.
Kevin Faulk – He hasn’t done much, but he’s not hurt. The same can’t be said for backmates Maroney and Sammy Morris.
Jerious Norwood – He finally showed some life last week. He could be used in a pinch.
Reuben Droughns – He’s been vulturing TDs, which is a role reversal for him. His 90 yards last week was a bonus.
LenDale White – He’s been decent. With Chris Brown likely out, he stands to get the bulk of the carries. He’s already the goaline guy.
Donte Stallworth – A couple of solid back-to-back games. Injuries and inconsistency are always a concern though.
Kevin Walter – Sure, his 12 catches for 160 yards were incredible, but he averaged 5.5 catches for 72 yards the previous two weeks, which isn’t bad.
Ike Hilliard – Averaged 77 yards per game the past three weeks.
Desmond Clark – 212 yards and 2 TDs the past four weeks. Not terrible.
Greg Olsen – Yardage increased the past three weeks. Receptions have followed suit. He’s becoming a bigger part of the Bear offense.
Kris Brown – Made 11 FGs the past three weeks.
NYG – Have gotten sack happy starting with the assault on McNabb.
Washington – Giving up very little points.
Kansas City – Picking up tons of sacks, INTs, and fumbles. Nice matchup against Oakland.
